Here's a link to a youtube video of my homebuilt mineral jig in action. I've found a lot of chrome diopside and pyrope garnet with it, but no diamonds so far. Still looking. Will be back in Wyoming Saturday. Jig & Auto-feeder operatingJim

Here's a link to my newly-designed portable jig. The unit weighs under 20lbs with motor and pump. It's made primarily of 4" ABS sewer pipe. That's a good material, as it's tough, and abrasion resistant...and light. My original jig is a beast, and though it works really well, it's shape is poor for carrying on a 4 wheeler, and it's too heavy to backpack. I wanted a unit that I could pack anywhere I wanted. This design will handle about 175lbs/hour of material classified to -#2 This new unit can be built for just over $110.00 in materials + the cost of machining a couple of parts. Should be buildable for around $200.00, which includes the cost of the plans. I have blueprints alone (for advanced builders) for $25 Blueprints with written instructions, including 32 pictures $45.00 The prints are in PDF format I take PayPal Jim
